Is the Karakoram Highway safe to travel right now?
The KKH is open year-round to Hunza and seasonally to Khunjerab Pass (roughly May to November, weather permitting). Landslide closures happen after heavy rain and are usually cleared within hours. We track the road daily during your tour and reroute if needed.
Do foreign nationals need a permit or NOC?
Most of Gilgit-Baltistan is open without an NOC, but restricted zones near the borders and parts of Balochistan do require one. We arrange it — send your passport copy at least 10 working days before travel.
What does the daily rate actually include?
Hotel on twin share with breakfast, fuel and tolls, driver allowance, national park and monument entry fees, and local coordination. It does not include lunch and dinner unless you add full board, domestic flights, tips, or anything personal.
Can you handle a family with elderly parents?
Yes — tell us in the notes when you send your request. We keep driving days under five hours, book ground-floor rooms where available, and avoid putting the Fairy Meadows jeep track and Deosai in the same itinerary.
How do I pay the advance?
Bank transfer or Raast to our registered company account, or cash at the office. Full details appear on your booking page once you send a request, and we issue a receipt with a written itinerary before you travel.
